Mother Load

We struck Gold last night.

We got to have dinner with Faye Gold, her husband Duane, and their daughter Michelle.

Donna made the best dinner I have had this year maybe even this decade.   She is a great blessing in our lives and without a doubt the best thing that has ever happened to Dad.

Wish I could have been there. I love Faye so much and she had a huge impact on my life when she lived with us. She is my 4th sister!

You make me homesick. I'm just sorry we couldn't spend more time with you. The rest of our visit was spent with Duane's siblings. This was the first time in five years all six have been together. One of his sisters has to have surgery (today, actually) to put a shunt to drain a cyst next to her brain. We were amazed she made the trip to Utah because this cyst has really affected her motor skills. So we tried to spend as much time as possible with them. It's amazing how fast time went by while we were there. I hope the next time we are in Utah we will make it a longer visit. (That may be sooner than we think becasue our son intends to become engaged soon and we will be heading back to the west for a wedding.) Our visit with you was one of my favorites. Thanks for making the effort to come down. Love ya!!!!!
